Directions to softball fields used by MAGS

Sydney Bahney Memorial Field

The field is located at the intersection of Clay Avenue and Marshall Way in downtown Mars.  Many may know this field as the Mars Ice Skating Rink.

Valencia Borough Field:

From Mars:

Take Rt. 228 East towards Rt. 8.

Turn Right on Three Degree Road at the traffic light at Mars High School.

The field is on the right just after you pass over the railroad tracks by St. Barnabas.

Hesphenheid Field:

From Mars:

Take Rt. 228 West towards Cranberry.

The Hespenheid field is located directly across from the Mars Alliance Church.

You may park on the grassy areas or the gravel road.

Please avoid exiting onto Rt. 228 to the left when leaving this field.  There is very limited visibilty.

Adams Township Community Park (Adams 1 and 2)

From Mars:

Take Rt. 228 East towards Rt. 8.

Turn Left on Three Degree Road at the traffic light at Mars High School.

Proceed approximately 3 miles and the Park is on your left.

Parking note – Park only in designated parking lots or one side of the road. Do not park on any grass areas. All vehicle tires must be on the pavement. Additional parking can be found below the two fields MAGS plays on. Adams Township police will patrol and ticket violators. Failure to abide by parking regulations can lead to loss of field use for the league. 

Mars V.F.W.

The Mars V.F.W is located just south of Rt. 228 on Mars-Valencia Rd.  

The V.F.W is on the left.

Parking note – Activities may be going on at the VFW and the horseshoe pits near the field. Please make sure children are supervised in the parking lot.

Spreng Fields (Note:  Field under construction)

From Mars:

Take Rt. 228 East towards Rt. 8.

Cross Rt. 8 onto Overbrook Rd.

Go Straight through the first stop sign (Intersection with Browns Hill Rd.)

Turn right on Bowers Rd.

Proceed to the stop sign.

Make a left on Steiner Bridge Rd.

The field is 0.2 miles on the left.
